Counted amongst the sexiest women in the glamour world, English model Lucy Pinder has graced the covers of some of the hottest British publications such as ‘FHM,’ ‘Nuts,’ ‘Loaded,’ and the ‘Daily Star.’ She had already been modeling for a few years when she first decided to go for topless photo-shoots and this decision of hers proved to be a turning point in her career. Blessed with a curvaceous figure, she sent ripples across the fashion world with her sizzling hot topless pictures which catapulted her to the status of a supermodel in no time. Her successful modeling career paved the way for a television career as well and she was bombarded with numerous offers to appear on television shows. After making her first appearance on Living TV’s series ‘I’m Famous and Frightened!,’ she went on to appear on Sky Sports as a celebrity soccerette on ‘Soccer AM’ and as a contestant on a special edition of the ‘Weakest Link.’ Soon enough, she became a presenter on the ‘Nuts TV live show’ which further enhanced her popularity.

Samantha Fox’s breasts may have adorned a million walls in her Page 3 heyday but she was also one of the world’s most successful singers. Her first three singles raced into the top ten in all corners of the globe, while her six albums shifted a whopping 30 million copies between them. Her career took a nosedive in the 1990s but she could always fall back on her iconic status in the Balkans, India and Siberia. With her recent forays into TV (shambolic performance at the Brits in 1989, tipsy ramblings on 2003’s The Club) best swept under the carpet, she’s now poised to make her small-screen comeback on Channel 4’s Celebrity Wife Swap. As she prepares to square up to comedian Freddie Starr on Sunday night, we offer up ten fascinating facts about the nation’s most celebrated pin-up.

1. Sam began readying herself for global stardom at an early age. She enrolled in the Anna Scher Theatre School at the age of 5, made her TV debut at 10 and started at the Judi Dench Mountview Theatre School at 11. She also scored her first record deal with her band SFX at the age of 14.

2. Sam has no problem reconciling topless modelling with her strong Christian beliefs. She says: “God gave me my body. I know it has made many people happy. There is no conflict there. I don’t and have never promoted pornography. I am doing what God wants me to do.”

3. Sam dated Spanish bullfighter Rafi Comino, KISS guitarist Paul Stanley and Cherie-gate conman Peter Foster before re-thinking her romantic allegiances.

4. Sam knew she was attracted to girls after drooling over Bionic Woman Lindsey Wagner at 14 but did not confirm her sexuality until 2003. She said at the time: “People keep trying to say I’m a lesbian. I don’t know what I am. All I know is that I’m in love with Myra [Stratton, her manager].”

5. Sam wants to follow in the big-screen footsteps of fellow blondes Sharon Stone and Goldie Hawn. She once said her ideal film role would be “something like Private Benjamin or Basic Instinct. So, if they are filming Basic Instinct 2 – give me a call”. A bit late on that one, love!

6. Sam was once asked for her autograph by a Priest at a church service. Tsk tsk.

7. Sam’s dad kept her on £200 a week pocket money until she was 26 while he embezzled a cool £1 million from her earnings. He also drove a Mercedes while she pootled around in a Nissan Micra. She says: “Nothing against Nissan Micras, but if I pulled up outside a club, I’d park up the road, just because I knew the photographers would take the p***.”

8. Sam spent a year in New York in the early 90s VJing for MTV and making a one-off appearance in sitcom Charles In Charge. However, her TV career didn’t exactly take off after she repeatedly referred to Rolf Harris as “Ralph” during one ill-fated interview.

9. Plans for a marble statue of Sam in a Serbian town were scrapped when she “inexplicably” refused to show her breasts during a concert. Oh well, at least that Rocky statue is still going ahead!

10. Sam cites her “intelligence” as the quality she most admires in herself.

In 1985, Whittaker made her début as a Page 3 girl in British newspaper The Sun at the age of 16.[2]With her brunette hair, good looks and natural 36DD breasts, she became one of the most celebrated glamour models of the 1980s alongside Samantha Fox and Linda Lusardi.

In 1987, Whittaker appeared on the cover of Palace Software‘s computer game, Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior, along with Michael Van Wijk (also known as Wolf) from the Gladiators television show.[3] In 1988, they appeared again on the cover of Barbarian II: The Dungeon of Drax.

Whittaker was also the star of Maria Whittaker’s X-Mas Strip Poker, a computer game released in 1988 for the Commodore Amiga, Commodore 64 and 128.

She soon became one of the most popular models to appear in the feature and was named Page 3 Girl Of The Year in 1989.

Whittaker is ranked as Glamour Girl No. 80 in Glamour Girls: An Illustrated Encyclopedia.

Her younger sister Lisa Whittaker (born September 1970 in Hounslow) also appeared on Page 3, and the sisters posed together for topless photo shoots. She has an older brother David who is an accountant in London.

Whittaker is married to jungle producer Congo Natty. She has three children. Trinity Tafari, her youngest child, is a world champion at street dance, and is a part of dance group IMD who have been featured on Got to Dance and Britain’s Got Talent.

Before breaking into modelling, Whittaker appeared as a Hill’s Angel in two episodes of The Benny Hill Show in 1983. In 1986, she appeared in the movie version of Whoops Apocalypse. She made her second screen appearance in the film Tank Mallingin 1989.

Whittaker’s Page 3 spread was shown, being read by Benny Hill, in the Genesis video (2:07)[7] for Anything She Does, off the Invisible Touch Album, from 1986. Hill then looks up, and sees Whittaker, in the flesh, so to speak. He is distracted by her, as people sneak into the backstage area, that Hill is supposed to be guarding.

After retiring from modelling, Whittaker formed the band Rhythm Zone in 1990, with her as lead vocalist.[5] After the band flopped and a solo single, “Stop Right Now”, tanked, Whittaker returned to modelling, doing nude pictorials for Mayfair and other men’s magazines.

Joanne “Jo” Guest (born 22 February 1972 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire) is a well known English glamour model who has become a minor celebrity in her own right. She has appeared in a wide range of British “top shelf” magazines, including Mayfair and Men Only. Since 2000 she has been a television host for the Men and Motors cable/satellite channel in the United Kingdom, operated by Granada.

Born and raised in Chesterfield, north east Derbyshire, England, Guest got her start in modelling when she came across an advertisement for it while working as a magician’s assistant and taking a catering course at her local college. She appeared as a Page 3 girl in The Sun and has also appeared in the magazines Loadedand FHM. She also appeared in the Playboy video Shagalicious British Babes.

Guest also appeared in an interactive erotic magazine for PC called Interactive Girls. She has been starring in a PC game Jo Guest in the Milk Round, released by Interactive Girls Club in 1994.

In 1993 and again in 2003, she started appearing exclusively every month in the British soft-core magazine Men’s World with whom she also started an interactive website. But she did not feature in the November or December issues, it being said she was too busy.

Guest had a weekly “agony babe” advice column in the Daily Star newspaper from November 1998 to March 2000, and starting with the June 2002 issue she had a monthly advice column in Front magazine.

In 2003 she took part in the Sun’s A Night of Page 3, a one off show imitating the Windmill Theatre mix of tableaus and variety acts. It was rumoured that Guest would not be taking part, after the role of compere went to Linda Lusardi and Guest herself was relegated to participating in the show with more recent Page 3 models. However Guest did take part in the show and did so fully nude, being magically stripped by Lusardi – playing the role of magician for the evening – who then sliced Guest in half with a large buzz saw.

Guest has hosted a number of television programmes on the Granada Men & Motors cable/satellite channel in the United Kingdom. Shows include:

  • Jo Guest’s Private Parts (Nov 1998)
  • Undressed with Guest (the second series was shown in Spring 1999)
  • Jo Guest’s Sexy Entertainments (Oct-Dec 1999)
  • Jo Guest’s Capital Exposed (Nov 2002)
  • The Steam Room : with Jo Guest (Oct 2004)
  • Jo Guest UK Exposed (Nov 2004)

Although Private Parts involved Guest reading viewers’ letters about their sexual problems, and providing suggested solutions (in the manner of her “Agony Babe” columns), subsequent shows saw a more directly erotic content. Undressed with Guestinvolved Guest performing with budding glamour models, and Sexy Entertainments was a talent show for erotic performers which often involved Guest joining the act. Stunts involved nude firebreathing, escapology, pole dancers, hypnosis, mud wrestling, and erotic magic. Erotic magician Lynx used Guest as her assistant in a number of illusions.

Following Sexy Entertainments, Capital Exposed and UK Exposed adopted a Eurotrash approach in which a nude or topless Guest was placed in suggestive or sexual situations, including becoming a stripper, being spanked in a BDSM dungeon, and modelling in a sex shop.

Guest also appeared in the third series of the British TV show, I’m Famous and Frightened!

On 21 January 2008, she was a guest on the television show This Morning, where she discussed a mystery illness she had been suffering from for the past 14 months that had left her unable to work and that doctors had been unable to diagnose. On 10 April 2008 she returned as a guest on This Morning and confirmed that, as a direct result of help from viewers that had seen her previous appearance, she had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
